The U.S. dollar was mixed against other major currencies in European trading Wednesday. Gold fell.
The euro traded at US$1.3188, down from US$1.3247 late Tuesday in New York.

Gold fell US$12.50 in Hong Kong to US$673.10 an ounce.
Silver opened in London at US$14.29 per troy ounce, down from US$14.53.
