Italian Soccer Capsules

Capsules Sunday from the 21st round of the Serie A, the Italian first-division soccer league (home teams listed first):
Atalanta 1, Catania 1
Takayuki Morimoto scored an 88th-minute equalizer three minutes after coming on as a substitute to keep Catania tied for fourth place with Lazio with 30 points.
Riccardo Zampagna scored Atalanta's goal in the 30th from close range.
___
Cagliari 0, Reggina 2
Midfielder Luca Vigiani, recently signed from Livorno, scored in the 46th and 58th to lift Reggina out of the relegation zone for the first time this season.
Reggina, which was docked 11 points for its part in the Italian match-fixing scandal, is in 17th place with 16 points.
___
Chievo Verona 0, Empoli 0
Chievo strikers Victor Obinna and Sergio Pellissier went close on either side of halftime, but neither could beat Empoli goalkeeper Daniele Balli.
Empoli had few opportunities to break the deadlock.
___
Fiorentina 2, Livorno 1
Fiorentina forwards Luca Toni and Adrian Mutu missed several chances before Livorno captain Cristiano Lucarelli struck in the 27th minute against the run of play.
Toni equalized in the 68th following up another Mutu effort for his 11th goal of the season, and provided the pass for Martin Jorgensen to score the winner in the 82nd in a Tuscan derby.
___
Messina 1, Ascoli 2
Alessandro Parisi gave Messina the lead with a 75th-minute penalty after defender Luigi Di Biagio fouled Ivica Iliev in the area.
But Michele Paolucci scored two goals in the final two minutes to give Ascoli only its second victory of the season.
Di Biagio was sent off in the 89th for his second yellow card.
___
AC Milan 1, Parma 0
Filippo Inzaghi tapped in Andrea's Pirlo's free kick in the 76th for his 127th Serie A goal _ but only his second this season. After scoring, the forward pointed to his name printed on the back of his shirt, gesturing both to the crowd and to Milan's dugout.
Inzaghi has started infrequently this season and is likely to spend more time on the bench if Brazil striker Ronaldo makes his expected move to Milan from Real Madrid next week.
Massimo Oddo made his full debut for Milan in the No. 44 shirt after signing from Lazio on Wednesday. The Italy defender was Milan's best player, stifling Parma's attack and making a series of runs down the right channel.
Milan could have won by a larger margin but Alberto Gilardino, Inzaghi and Kaka struggled in front of goal.
___
AS Roma 1, Siena 0
Mirco Vucinic scored in the 62nd for his first goal for Roma, taking Francesco Tavano's through ball and shooting from a tight angle.
Vucinic made a rare start in place of the suspended Francesco Totti and became Roma's 12th different scorer this season.
Siena midfielder Tomas Locatelli was sent off just before the final whistle for striking Daniele De Rossi in the face while jumping for a ball. Replays suggested that the incident was unintentional.
AS Roma has 46 points to be second in the league.
