Lara guides West Indies to one-day win over India

Marlon Samuels and Brian Lara carried the West Indies to a three-wicket victory over India in the third one-day international on Saturday.
Man of the match Samuels struck 98 and captain Lara chipped in with 83 as the visitors reached a challenging target of 269 under the lights with 6.2 overs to spare to reduce their deficit to 2-1 in the four-match series.
"We spoke in the dressing room about coming from behind," Lara told reporters.
"We are a team that a lot of people say are unpredictable and it was important for us to fight. Our backs were against the wall but we did a really good job."
Earlier, opener Robin Uthappa smashed 70 off only 41 balls as India was bowled out for 268 in 48 overs after being asked to bat first.
Medium pacer Dwayne Bravo took four for 39 in an inspired second spell as the last seven wickets fell for 36 runs.
The 26-year-old Samuels, who hit 12 fours and a six in his 95-ball knock, put on 127 at almost a run-a-ball for the fourth wicket with Lara as West Indies recovered in style from 92 for three.
The stylish Samuels was caught behind by Dinesh Karthik off medium pacer Ajit Agarkar with the score on 219.
Lara, who missed the previous match due to a knee problem, was in pristine form as he and Lendl Simmons (17) put on 38 for the next wicket before the skipper was caught by Uthappa in the covers as he gave off spinner Ramesh Powar the charge.
Bravo and Simmons also fell but Dinesh Ramdin and debutant Rayad Emrit guided West Indies home.
The final match is in Baroda on Wednesday.
