Mancini denies Chelsea interest

Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini won't be working at Chelsea next season.
The 42-year-old Mancini, whose contract at Inter expires at the end of the season, denied he'd spoken to an English newspaper about linking up with the two-time defending Premier League champions.
He was quoted in Friday's edition of The Sun as saying "I'd really love to manage a Premiership side one day. Chelsea? It would be fantastic."
But on Saturday, Mancini claimed "I never said those things _ I haven't spoken with anybody."
Mancini, who joined Inter in 2004 after spells at Serie A teams Lazio and Fiorentina, is in talks to extend his contract at the Milan club.
"Things are exactly as they were before," he said about negotiations.
But Mancini confirmed he would like to coach in England in the future.
"It's different if they report things I might have said two years ago, when I said I would like to coach in England after my adventure at Inter," Mancini said.
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is under contract until 2010, but his future is in doubt after reportedly falling out with billionaire owner Roman Abramovich.
After a lackluster start to the season, Mancini has steered Inter 11 points clear atop the Serie A and through to the last 16 of the Champions League. The team also looks set to reach the final of the Italian Cup after beating Sampdoria 3-0 in the first leg of the semifinals on Wednesday.
Inter leads with 54 points and bids for its 14th straight league win against Sampdoria on Sunday.
