China Airlines inaugurates VIP lounge in Narita airport

Taiwan's biggest international carrier, China Airlines, unveiled its new Dynasty VIP lounge yesterday at Narita International Airport's Terminal 2.
The grand opening of the new Dynasty VIP Lounge was co-hosted by Koh Se-kai, representative for the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Japan; Tokuda Shoji, senior vice president of Narita International Airport Corporation; Scott Shih, senior vice president of service for China Airlines; and Jeff Ho, vice president of Japan Area for China Airlines.
The 5,380-square-foot lounge provides seating for 19 First Class passengers and 70 Dynasty and Dynasty Supreme Class passengers, CAL said in a statement. It also boasts four PCs and wireless Internet connection.
Designed by Tanseisha Co., the new CAL Dynasty VIP Lounge at Tokyo's Narita International Airport projected an image of young, modern professionalism in an elegant, comfortable and artistic atmosphere. The new VIP lounge is decorated with Chinaware produced in Yingge while flower-shaped shadows are projected on the walls of the hallway, CAL said.
The carrier flies 22 weekly flights between Taipei and Tokyo, and five flights between Tokyo and Honolulu. CAL also offers more scheduled flights between Taiwan and Japan than any other airline.
