TAIPEI (Taiwan News) -- The General Association of Chinese Culture (GACC) (中華文化總會) will host the Presidential Office Concert (總統府音樂會) on April 6 on Ketagalan Boulevard, which will feature 10 performing groups.
To celebrate the centenary of the Presidential Office Building, there will be a free concert titled Presidential Office Concert on Ketagalan Boulevard (凱達格蘭大道) at 7:00 p.m on April 6. GACC has announced that the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra will lead the outdoor event's musical line up, which feature ten different groups of performers .
GACC explained, there are three themes of the concert which are "beauty of the land," (地之美) "beauty of the people"(人之美) and "beauty of the heart"(心之美). Under the "beauty of the land," Taiwanese rockstar Luantan Ascent (亂彈阿翔) and Taiwanese aboriginal singer Sangpuy (桑布伊) will celebrate an abundance of life and energy in Taiwan with their unique voice and style.
The line-up also includes Taiwanese independent bands and singers, such as Frandé (法蘭黛樂團), Fire EX. (滅火器), Enno Cheng (鄭宜農) and more. For more information, please visit the official website or Facebook page.
Additionally, there will be a "One Day Taiwan" market hosted by the Harvest organization (豐年社) in the morning on April 6. The event will feature nearly eighty venders selling fresh fruits, vegetables, and other daily unique agricultural products found in Taiwan.
