TAIPEI (Taiwan News) -- After a man was caught secretly watching women use the restroom at a university in Taipei, he apparently panicked and leaped from the fourth floor of the building, knocking him unconscious, reported CNA.
Taipei City Police today reported that a man had fallen from a building on the campus of National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) in Taipei's Da'an District. When he was discovered, he apparently panicked and jumped out the fourth-floor window. He is currently in the hospital under observation, and details of his condition have yet to be released.
At noon today, police said that they received a report from a woman who alleged that she noticed a man spying on her as she used the restroom in a building on the campus of NTUST. Paramedics rushed him to Wan Fang Hospital, where he regained consciousness and is in stable condition.
According to a preliminary investigation, Yu is suspected to have snuck into a women's restroom and began spying on women as they used the toilet. However, when a female student discovered that Yu had been peering at her through a partition in the toilet stall, she screamed and immediately called for help, reported SETN.

When her friends rushed to her aid, Police say that Yu locked himself inside a toilet stall. Police suspect that when he overheard the student call the police, he leaped out of the fourth-floor window from the women's bathroom.
Further investigation is needed to verify the man's identity and the cause of his fall.
The incident comes exactly one week after another man was caught dressing as a woman and sneaking photos inside the bathroom of a female student dormitory in New Taipei City.
