Taiwan's Taoyuan adjusts opening hours of attractions during LNY

Services of Taiwan Tourist Shuttle in the city will be suspended on Feb. 4 and Feb. 5

TAIPEI (Taiwan News) – The Department of Tourism of Taoyuan City Government on Friday announced adjusted operation hours of the city’s public transportation and popular tourist attractions during the Lunar New Year holiday.

The bureau said that the following attractions will be closed on Feb. 4, but reopen from Feb. 5 : the Xiao Wulai Scenic Area, including Xiao Wulai Skywalk, and Xiao Wulai Sky Rope Bridge; Lala Mountain Nature Protection Zone; Jiaobanshan Residence Park, including the new Sikou suspension bridge, and the Luofu hot spring park; and the Cihu area, including Back Cihu, and Cihu Mausoleum. From Feb. 5 to Feb. 10, these attractions will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., but the last entry time for the Xiao Wulai Skywalk is 4:30 p.m., 4:50 p.m. for the Xiao Wulai Sky Rope Bridge, and 1:15 p.m. for Back Cihu, the agency said.

In addition, services of Taiwan Tourist Shuttle’s Xiaowulai Route, Cihu Route, and Theme Park route will be suspended on Feb. 4 and Feb. 5, the agency said. The shuttle services from Feb. 6 to Feb. 10 will be operated according to the holiday mode.

Tourist centers across Taoyuan will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Feb. 4, but will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. ,as usual, from Feb. 5 to Feb. 10.
