TAIPEI (Taiwan News) – Taiwan's E.SUN Bank and Myanmar's National Management Degree College (NMDC) have signed an industry-university cooperative training project to foster local talents with further profound knowledge and practical skills in the finance, reported CNA.
According to E.SUN Bank, the collaboration project was designed with internship programs, scholarships, and on-site visits in order to provide students with in-depth experience in the workplace, as well as the current financial trends and services.
Located in the downtown area of Yangon, Myanmar, NMDC is a well-known and the only management school which offered training in various business fields such as Business Management, Journalism, Tourism and Hospitality Management.
In accord with the industry-academia collaboration project, NMDC students will be offered internship opportunities during the summer and winter vacations at E.SUN Bank -- Yangon branch. In addition, several outstanding students will be awarded scholarships and accompany instructors for on-site visits.
The deputy-head of E.SUN Bank's Human Resources, Wang Chi-cheng (王志成), said the bank has always been devoted to training in the field of finance and has taken an initial step to directly cooperate with the local school in Yangon to cultivate and exchange talent between the two countries, the reports said.
