Famous astrologer faces leg amputation due to heart failure

The famous astrologer Yan Jeou-hen, popularly known as Prince Stars might have escaped a heart transplant, but will most likely have his left calf amputated due to a long term poor circulation, said his doctor at the National Taiwan University Hospital Wednesday.
Yan was rushed to the hospital Monday night after he lost consciousness. He was later diagnosed with myocarditis, an inflammation of a heart muscle. Two days of intense rescue have lessened Yan's need to receive an immediate heart transplant, but doctors have not ruled out the option of amputating Yan's left calf which has developed several hard lumps due to blocked blood circulation.
Yan is expected to be taken off the extracoporeal membrane oxygenation machine later Wednesday.
