TAIPEI (Taiwan News) – Taipei Children’s Amusement Park is holding celebrations to mark its fourth anniversary while ringing in the Christmas season on Dec. 15 and 16, spotlighting a slew of fun-packed activities.
A 5-meter tall Christmas tree has been installed in the park, along with a star-studded arch gate, adding to the festive spirit of the recreational facility popular among youngsters.
As part of the “Birthday 4 Fun” event, individuals born in December will be eligible for free entry over the Dec. 15 weekend when presenting their ID documents. The first 200 visitors who purchase the one-day pass will also receive limited edition “early bird” gifts, according to the organizers.
What’s more, those who make a purchase of NT$99 (US$3.20) or more at stores marked with a “green Christmas tree” and use a ride marked with a “red Christmas tree,” will be eligible to play the poke-and-win-a-prize game with the “receipt” of the purchase and “stamp” from the ride. The game promises prizes (a limited stock of 2,000 prizes per day) including TCAP vouchers, Maokong Gondola tickets, Taipei Arena Ice Land tickets, and more.
In addition to the anniversary celebrations, a variety of performances will also take place every weekend throughout December, including Christmas-themed shows staged by Ifkids Theatre, as well as performances brought by buskers spotlighting magic, diabolo juggling, and balloon twisting.
