ASUS (華碩) , Trend Micro (趨勢科技), and Want Want Holdings Limited(旺旺控股) were in the top three of the list.

Compared with last year, the most visible improvement in brand value was seen for No.4 CTBC Financial Holding Co., Ltd. (中信金控), with an increase of 13%.

The total value of the top 20 international brands in 2018 in Taiwan has grown by 0.2% compared with last year. Facing a year of global turmoil, the Top 20 have maintained steadily upward growth.

The "2018 Top 20 Taiwan International Brands" survey was sponsored by the Industrial Development Bureau (IDB) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs(經濟部工業局).

The global brand consultancy Interbrand conducted price evaluations under the commission of the Taiwan Institute of Economic Research(台經院).

According to Interbrand, Taiwan's top 20 international brands still maintained a diversified development pattern in 2018, in which consumer electronics and technology sectors maintain an upward growth trend.

The survey also found that enterprise alliances helped a lot with the growth of these brands.
