Haller released from intensive care after heart attack

Helmut Haller, who scored the first goal in the 1966 World Cup final, was released from intensive care Saturday, one day after having a heart attack.
The 67-year-old Haller, who played 33 games for Germany, including the 4-2 loss to England in the 1966 final, is expected to remain in the hospital for another week.
"Hopefully, he is on the way to recovering," his son Juergen said.
Haller was one of the first Germans to play abroad and won three Italian championships _ with Bologna in 1964 and two with Juventus in 1972 and '73.
