India's bowlers restrict South Africa's lead

Sree Seesanth took three of the six South African wickets to fall before lunch Friday with the hosts on 192-6 to lead by 280 runs on day four of the second test against India.
Resuming on 64-0 at the Kingsmead Stadium, Graeme Smith and A.B. de Villiers took their opening partnership to 99 before De Villiers (47) was caught by V.V.S. Laxman at second slip off Vikram Singh.
Hashim Amla (0) was out leg-before-wicket to Sreesanth, who bowled Smith for 59 and had Ashwell Prince (0) caught by Sourav Ganguly three balls later to leave South Africa on 121-4.
Nineteen runs later, Herschelle Gibbs was caught by substitute fielder Dinesh Karthik at short cover for 9 off Anil Kumble. Zaheer Khan had Mark Boucher lbw for 8 with the Proteas on 143-6.
Shaun Pollock (18) and Andrew Hall (20) then put on an unbroken seventh-wicket partnership of 49.
Sreesanth was the pick of the bowlers with 3-54.
South Africa scored 328 in its first innings and bowled out India for 240.
India leads the three-test series 1-0.
