Schild leads top-three sweep for Austria with Zettel and Hosp

Marlies Schild led Kathrin Zettel and Nicole Hosp in a 1-2-3 sweep for Austria after the first run of a World Cup giant slalom on Thursday.
Schild went down the Zauberberg course in 1 minute, 4.04 seconds before crashing into a boarding after the finish line.
"It looked bad but I am fine," Schild said.
Zettel, who won the season-opening giant slalom in Aspen, Colorado, came second, 0.21 seconds back.
Hosp was third, 0.31 back. She hit her right hand on the last gate, but is expected to ski the second run.
American skier Julia Mancuso was fourth in 1:04.90. Her teammate Lindsey Kildow was among the 16 skiers who did not finish.
