Andalusia beats Israeli-Palestinian team 3-1

One subject Israelis and Palestinians agree on is soccer.
Members of Israel's national squad partnered Palestinian players against a team representing the southern Spanish region of Andalusia on Wednesday for a friendly organized by the Peres Center for Peace aimed at promoting peace.
Israeli Vice Premier Shimon Peres was among the 35,000 fans at Seville's Sanchez Pijuan stadium, and he and French soccer great Michel Platini performed the honorary kickoff.
Israeli singer Noa performed beforehand, and 1,500 children formed the word "peace" in Spanish on the field.
The proceeds from the match were to go toward financing schools in Palestinian territories in a project sponsored by the Andalusian regional government.
As for the game, Andalusia beat the Israeli-Palestinians 3-1.
Dani Guiza, who plays for Getafe in Spain's first division, scored in the fifth and 22nd minutes. Pablo Alfaro, captain of Sevilla, the Spanish league leader, added Andalusia's third goal in the 69th.
Klemi Saban, a defender who plays at Romania's Steaua Bucharest, scored for the Israeli-Palestinians in the 43rd.
