BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (AP) — After more than a half-century of memorable film roles, Donald Sutherland is finally getting his Oscar.

The 82-year-old actor will receive an honorary Oscar on Saturday at the film academy's ninth annual Governors Awards ceremony. The Canadian-born actor has appeared in roughly 140 films, delivering memorable performances in films such as "Kelly's Heroes," ''Ordinary People" and "The Hunger Games" films.

Fellow honorees at Saturday's ceremony are director Agnes Varda, writer-director Charles Burnett and cinematographer Owen Roizman.

Sutherland says he hasn't done any career reflection as a result of the honor, but he's still feeling jitters. He says he wishes his mother, and "Kelly's Heroes" director Brian Hutton, were alive to experience the ceremony with him.
