TAIPEI (Taiwan News) – Pop superstar Jay Chou (周杰倫) keeps his crown at the top spot on the list of the highest-earning singers in Taiwan for 2017, announced on Tuesday.

The Chinese-language Apple Daily just published the annual chart of the most moneymaking singers, with the three top positions remaining the same as of last year with Jay Chou (周杰倫) in first place, followed by Leehom Wang (王力宏) and Jam Hsiao (蕭敬騰).

According to the latest tally from the Apple Daily, Chou keeps having a successful year earning NT$907 million (US$30 million) as a spokesman for 10 brands and appearing on 37 Chinese reality shows, making him the highest-earning Taiwan singer of the year.

With 17 years experience as a singer, Chou's career still remains solid as his latest world tour "The Invincible" keeps attracting thousands of fans. His private life also flourished as his wife, Hannah Quinlivan, gave birth to their second child in June.

The second on the list is Taiwanese-American singer Leehom Wang with NT$800 million (US$26,5 million).
