TAIPEI (Taiwan News) -- Etta Ng (吳卓林), the estranged daughter of Jackie Chan, announced yesterday on her Instagram page that she is gay, as numerous photos have surfaced of her with girlfriend, "Andi Autumn" a 30-year-old social media star from Canada.
On her Instagram account @stolenmilktea, Ng, 17, Thursday (Oct. 5) posted an image of herself with a rainbow background and wrote "In case no one got the memo, I'm gay." She later removed the image and replaced it with what appears to be her silhouette with a shaved head with the hashtags #lgbtqai #lgbt #lesbian #androgynous.
In 1999, Hong Kong actress and beauty queen Elaine Ng Yi-Lei, 45, revealed that she was pregnant after having an affair with Chan in 1998. When pressed by the media to comment on her allegation that he was the father of their unborn love child, he infamously said he "only committed a fault that many men in the world commit."
His comment enraged many fans in Taiwan as his wife Joan Lin is Taiwanese, who he says he was "forced to marry" when she became pregnant with their son Jaycee Chan. The coarse way in which he admitted to his infidelity to his Taiwanese wife and criticism he has made against Taiwan's democracy over the years have made him a pariah in Taiwan.

Chan to date has not publicly acknowledged his daughter and says that she will not be included in his will. For her part, Ng considers Chan a stranger and said in 2015 that she was "far from forgiving him after all these years."
In April of this year, Ng was hospitalized after an alleged suicide attempt during a turbulent time with her mother. She had been posting signs of suicidal thoughts on social media posting articles on the subject and making cryptic comments such as "Leaving HK for a bit tomorrow. I'm still alive, for those who are wondering" on Facebook.
Ng has recently been romantically linked with Andi Autumn and the two apparently are now living together. On the same day that Ng made her announcment, Andi, who is famous for her Barbie-like aesthetic, posted an image of the two of them together. Andi then wrote words of praise for Ng and commented on their hardships they have faced as a couple:
"We've encountered a lot of discrimination from family, friends, and the Hong Kong society. We are living in such an international city and yet so many people have their minds closed off. But none of it matters when I know every morning your going to be next to me. I love you."
