Register now for participation in walk through places of interest in Taipei’s oldest district

TAIPEI (Taiwan News)—Taipei City Urban Regeneration Office (URO) will hold a “Wanhua Adventure” activity to walk participants through some interesting places in the city’s oldest district on Tuesday (Sept. 12) in the afternoon. People interested in the activity should register online as soon as possible.

Participants are to meet at the Red House (No. 10, Chendu Rd., Wanhua District), where the walk will start, and the activity will last from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., according to a URO news release.

The tour will walk participants through places of cultural and historical interest, including the Nishi Honggan-ji Temple, Chao-Bei Hospital, and Bo Pi Liao Historical Street District, the end point of the walk.

The URO invites residents in the greater Taipei area to participate in the walk and explore a side of Wanhua they may not know about.

The urban adventure will also introduce participants to some stores hidden in the streets and alleys that sell delicacies, according to the URO.
