As the annual Zhongyuan Ghost Festival is fast approaching, Carrefour supermarket chain is launching a month-long sale, offering up to 60 percent off on more than 40,000 items.
Besides the regular “buy one, get one free” deal on the must have items for the coming festival, Carrefour is also rolling out large-size discount packages to provide rich and diverse offerings that will surely make Carrefour the best place to shop for the Ghost Month coming up late August.
In addition, the supermarket chain is also offering free returns and exchanges, in order to give customers the utmost satisfaction in the quality of support.
The company this year has enlisted A-list celebrity Lan Cheng-lung to take on the leading role in its first wave of ad campaign, featuring three generations of a family and their way of reflecting on traditions of the Zhongyuan Ghost Festival and Zhongyuan General Salvation Ceremonies.
Over 40,000 items will go on sale at a deep discount, while a classic “buy one, get one free” promo for a diverse range of items will also be available, including sports drinks, cooking oil, canned goods, joss paper and joss incense products.
The company also encourages customers to shop online to avoid the hassle of having to shop and carry your groceries yourself. Customers can now register online at the Carrefour Taiwan site before August 28th to get an e-coupon worth NT$200.
