TAIPEI (Taiwan News) -- A video an American photographer recently posted on social media about his 5-month trip around Taiwan has gone viral.

Taemin Kim, a 26-year-old Korean American born and raised in Florida, posted a video titled "Taiwan Adventures" documenting his experiences hiking, biking, swimming, diving, and hip-hop dancing around the island on the social media site Reddit.

In the first half of the video, he can be seen biking through rice farms in Yunlin, cruising through the tunnels of Taroko Gorge National Park, hiking through Zhuilu Old Trail, soaking in Wenshan Hot Springs, boating through Sicao Green Tunnel, crossing Taiwan's longest suspension footbridge, reaching the top of Taiwan's highest mountain road, eating Taiwanese dishes, and snorkeling Dragon's Hole.

About halfway through there is a long interlude showing Taiwanese people try Marmite for the first time and their perplexed reactions. Kim and his then companions have one last adventure with a hike up to Aohua Waterfall and swim the waters below.

The music featured in the video is provided by the Taiwanese bands Elephant Gym (大象體操) and Spring Rain (春雨). More of Kim's adventures around the world can be found on his website and his Instagram account.
