Hollywood movie star Tom Cruise will visit Taiwan for the fourth time next month to promote a movie, Universal Picture Co., the organizer of the trip, said on Monday.
Cruise, Kurtzman, Wallis and Boutella will attend the premiere of “The Mummy” in Taiwan on May 25, the company said.
The Mummy, an upcoming American film directed by Alex Kurtzman in which Cruise plays the lead role, is scheduled to hit theaters in Taiwan on June 9.
Earlier this year, Cruise took the initiative and told the film company's U.S. headquarters he would like to visit Taiwan again.
Cruise told fans when wrapping up his last visit to Taiwan in 2013 that he would return to the island to promote one of his future movies. And he promised his fans at the time that it would not take long. His previous visits were in 2000, 2001 and 2013, according to the company.
