TAIPEI (Taiwan News) -- Master blender Dr Jim Beveridge visited Taiwan Wednesday to attend the product launch of Blenders’ Batch No 3, introducing the new product of the limited edition whiskeys.
Blenders’ Batch is a line of limited edition whiskeys developed by master blender Jim Beveridge and his team in Scotland, while Johnnie Walker Red Rye was the first released in September 2016.
The liquid has been aged for at least 10 years in American oak, including Bourbon casks, and is made from five whiskies, including grain from the now-closed Port Dundas distillery and malt from Mortlach.
Jim Beveridge noted in the product launch that adding some waters will bring out the sweetness of the liquid.
Johnnie Walker Blenders’ Batch Triple Grain American Oak comes in at 41.3%ABV and will be available in limited amounts in Taiwan in April, you will have to act fast, once it's gone, it's gone.
