Taiwanese chef Andre Chiang honored by French magazine

Taiwanese chef Andre Chiang (江振誠) has been again included among the 100 best chefs in the world by the French magazine "Le Chef," the Hasmore Restaurant Group said Saturday.

Chiang was honored for his restaurant in Singapore, Andre Singapore. He has also opened RAW Taipei in the city's Zhongshan district.

Japanese chef Seiji Yamamoto was honored for his restaurant Nihonryori RyuGin to become the only chef from Asia to make it into the top 10. Yamamoto also opened Taiwan Shoun Ryugin in Zhongshan District.

Stanley Ko (葛世傑), CEO of the Hasmore Restaurant Group, which is a partner of RAW Taipei and Taiwan Shoun Ryugin, said he was honored to work with the chefs leading the two restaurants and pledged to continue to bring more gourmet food to Taiwan and the world.
