The office said seven shuttle bus lines will be provided to take visitors from downtown Taipei to Yangmingshan, the mountainous area in northern Taipei where cherry trees usually blossom between February and mid-March.

Buses No. 124, No. 125 and No. 130 will operate daily, while buses No. 127, No. 128, No. 129 and No. 131 will provide service only on the weekends, according to the office.

Bus No. 131 is a newly launched service that mainly serves the Zhuzihu area, it said.

The office noted that during Feb. 8 to 12, bus service will end one hour earlier than normal at 5 p.m., while on Lunar New Year's Eve on Feb. 7, the service will end at 3 p.m. (By Huang Li-yun and Lee Hsin-Yin)
