PARIS (AP) -- U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry is in the midst of climate negotiations in France, but he's also working the phones to push for diplomatic resolutions to crises in Syria and Libya.
The State Department says Kerry has called the foreign ministers of Italy, Jordan, Qatar, Russia and Saudi Arabia. He's also spoken with the Saudi crown prince and China's state councilor.
Kerry has been in Paris since Monday and plans to stay until the conclusion of the climate talks. They're supposed to wrap up on Friday but may last into the weekend.
