JERUSALEM (AP) -- The office of Israel's prime minister says an Israeli Arab jailed in Egypt for 15 years on espionage charges has been freed and returned to Israel.
Benjamin Netanyahu's office said Ouda Tarabin, a Bedouin Arab, arrived in Israel on Thursday.
It said in a statement that Tarabin was released after completing his 15-year sentence. It said Israel released two Egyptian prisoners, without providing further information.
Egyptian officials could not immediately be reached for comment.
Tarabin maintained his innocence over the years.
