BRISBANE, Australia (AP) -- A Cricket Australia XI was 245-4 at stumps Thursday, leading by two runs over the West Indies halfway through the four-day tour match at Allan Border Field.

Darren Bravo scored 51 in the West Indies' first-innings total of 243 in what will be the Caribbean squad's only practice match ahead of a three-test series that begins Dec. 10 in Hobart.

Simon Milenko took 5-76 for the Australians before teenager Jake Carder (58), Nick Stevens (46), Josh Inglis (44) and captain James Peirson (42 not out) added to the Australian total over the 64 overs the hosts batted on day two.

West Indies captain Jason Holder, who won the toss Wednesday, took 2-41.
