The traditional Osechi is assembled from myriad delicacies from the sea and the land; each item is prepared and consumed in hopes of summoning luck, joy, health, or longevity in the New Year. The nine-course Kaiseki is enjoyed for its seamless presentation of color, texture, and flavor. It is comprised of a supreme seafood medley of fatty tuna toro sashimi, simmered abalone, deep-fried tiger prawn tempura, wagyu entrée, and more.
