CNA set to launch new website design

Taipei, Oct. 28 (CNA) The Central News Agency (CNA) will roll out a new website design on Friday, launching a more appealing layout on its sites in four languages. The text on the new webpages will be bigger and easier to make read easy, presenting current affairs and news features in formats suitable for browsing on any device. CNA will also post its photos in bigger sizes to give readers a sense of being on the scene. In the video section of the website, a new series called "Hot Point" will be launched, offering two-minute clips of world news and allowing viewers to immediately share those clips. This is in addition to the prize-winning "Global View" video section that features local and international news. On the news homepage, information related to aspects of daily such as travel, health and 3C products will be also accessible. CNA's website offers news and features in four languages, namely Chinese, English, Japanese and Spanish. (By Wang Yung-chi and Lilian Wu)
