After a complete, three-month renovation, Grand Hyatt Taipei is welcoming back Café, which was named the "most popular restaurant" housed at the most popular hotel by a local renowned restaurant review and rating agency Ipeen, on October 15. a bright, chic, and comfortable dining area A greater variety of hams awaiting gourmets With a total of 292 seats and more than 168 international delicacies prepared by the hotel’s top chefs, the new Café will now offer its guests “wow” experiences that are both traditional and innovative. The new Café is designed as a high-end marketplace, with panoramic views of the nearby plaza with its grass, trees, water fountain, framed by French windows, all creating an oasis that transforms the busy city restaurant into a relaxing, cozy dining space. Café is flooded with natural lighting and thriving plants, giving it a warm and refreshing setting. The restaurant is divided into sections by transparent glass partitions – creating a spacious dining experience and is finished with wood and marble flooring for a modern touch. Decorated with a series of Chinese plates, copper pots, glassware and wooden trays that fills its opened shelves, space inspiring a home-like experience. Japanese chefs are preparing sashimi Crabs at the restaurant To do away with the often confusing and cluttered layout of a typical buffet restaurant, the new Café offers diners a comfortable, spacious atmosphere featuring ten recognizable food stations including refreshing salads and appetizers, Asian cuisine, western delicacies, Indian fare, Japanese dishes, fresh seafood, homemade bakeries, cheese, desserts, fresh fruit and beverages. Homemade bakeries and desserts In the renovated Café, an India pavilion is being placed inside the restaurant for the first time that offers traditional Indian marinated tandoori skinless chicken. All Indonesian dishes will be prepared by Café’s new Indian chef using a recipe brought from his home town. Other must-try dishes include a whole chicken braised with Ningbo lotus seeds, and black truffle risotto prepared with Italian rice.
