PERTH, Australia (AP) -- The Hawthorn Hawks remained in the hunt for a third Australian Football League title in a row with a 15.4 (94) to 10.7 (67) win Friday over the Fremantle Dockers.
The Hawks, who broke open a close match with four late fourth-quarter goals, will play the winner of Saturday's second semifinal between West Coast and North Melbourne in the grand final on Oct. 3 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Fremantle, which finished in first place during the regular season, was coming off a second-week bye. Hawthorn lost to West Coast in the opening round, forcing it to beat Adelaide in a second-round match last weekend.
The Hawks have advanced to the last four AFL grand finals.
