Taipei, Sept. 23 (CNA) The U.S. dollar rose against the Taiwan dollar Wednesday, gaining NT$0.279 to close at NT$33.250. Turnover totaled US$1.193 billion during the trading session. The greenback opened at NT$32.986, and moved between NT$32.700 and NT$33.256 before the close. (By Frances Huang)
