Earthquake rattles northern Taiwan

Taipei, Sept. 2 (CNA) A magnitude 4.3 earthquake rocked northern Taiwan at 10:18 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Central Weather Bureau.
The quake struck 27.6 kilometers northeast of the Yilan County government complex in northeastern Taiwan at a depth of 7.3 kilometers.
The earthquake was felt the most in Sandiaojao in New Taipei, where it registered a 3 on Taiwan's 1-7 intensity scale, according to bureau data.
It also shook Taiwan's capital city of Taipei.
