COLOMBO, Sri Lanka (AP) -- Sri Lanka's seam bowlers took two wickets in Saturday's morning session to have India on 119-4 at lunch on day two of the rain-affected third test.
Resuming at 50-2 after only 15 overs of play on the opening day, India lost an early wicket as Sri Lanka captain Angelo Mathews elicited an edge off the bat of opposing skipper Virat Kohli (18) to provide a maiden test catch to wicketkeeper Kusal Perera.
India looked like going to lunch without further loss, but on the penultimate ball of the session, Rohit Sharma (26) was caught by Upul Tharanga off the bowling of Dhammika Prasad.
Cheteshwar Pujara was unbeaten at lunch on 55.
This test will decide the series, which is tied 1-1.
