WASHINGTON (AP) -- Stevie Wonder is performing free pop-up concerts in Washington, Philadelphia and New York.
The D.C. Office of Motion Picture and Television Development says Wonder performed a few songs at the D.C. Armory Mall on Monday. The first 1,000 people got doughnuts.
The concert is part of promotion for Wonder's "Songs in the Key of Life Performance" tour. Wonder and his 22-piece band will perform in Washington on Oct. 3.
Live Nation Vice President of Booking Ted Mankin tells WTOP-FM that Wonder will perform in Philadelphia and New York, too. Live Nation tweets that there is a free pop-up performance in Philadelphia later Monday.
