NIA pan cars go to Changhua to serve new immigrants

The National Immigration Agency’s service pan car is now in Changhua, inviting the governmental offices in Yuanlin to take part in their mobile learning pan car event and provide a more thorough service to the new immigrants.

Ho Jung-chun, the deputy director-general, indicated that the population of new immigrants in Changhua is around 21,000, and NIA provides them as well as foreign-born Taiwanese with a thorough guidance on education and on adapting to the new life there. The NIA will also keep promoting the governmental offices partnership to raise the efficiency of the service, and they also hope the promotion of education in native languages for new immigrants will increase the advantages of foreign-born Taiwanese in the employment market.
