ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- A family lawyer says the 18-year-old daughter of the stars of the "Queen of Versailles" documentary had struggled with an addiction to a drug used to control her seizures before she died last weekend.
Attorney Michael Marder said in a statement Tuesday that Victoria Siegel had recently undergone voluntary rehabilitation to shake her dependence on the drug.
He says it is likely she ingested one or more drugs before she died.
Victoria Siegel was found by deputies at the family's home in Windermere last Saturday and pronounced dead at a hospital. Autopsy results haven't yet been released.
She was the daughter of David and Jackie Siegel, stars of the 2012 documentary, "Queen of Versailles." The movie chronicled their effort to build a 90,000-square-foot mansion, as well as their extravagant lifestyle.
