FRIDAO, Portugal (AP) -- Jari-Matti Latvala maintained his lead of the Rally of Portugal on Saturday with one day to go.
The Finn kept his Volkswagen Polo 9.5 seconds ahead of teammate and two-time defending champion Sebastien Ogier after the day's six stages.
Ogier moved from sixth to second after winning the final three stages of the day to overtake British driver Kris Meeke, who fell to third at 20 seconds off the pace.
Latvala says "Ogier is coming very strongly. In these situations he is fired up. This is like a fuel for him."
The rally finishes with three stages on Sunday.
