MELBOURNE, Australia (AP) -- The Fremantle Dockers extended their unbeaten run in Australian Rules football on Saturday, dominating North Melbourne 17.13 (115) to 5.12 (42) to maintain an eight-point, first-place lead in the Australian Football League.
It was the Dockers' eighth consecutive win to remain the only unbeaten team this season.
Two teams which entered the weekend in second place behind Fremantle -- West Coast and Greater Western Sydney -- improved to 6-2 with comfortable wins to keep pace with the Dockers. West Coast beat St. Kilda 20.11 (131) to 12.6 (78) and the Giants defeated Adelaide 16.12 (108) to 12.12 (84).
In a grand final rematch, the Sydney Swans turned the tables on defending champion Hawthorn, beating the Hawks 11.7 (73) to 9.15 (69).
