Vintage bomb found on Ateneo campus

An vintage bomb was reportedly found on Tuesday inside the Ateneo De Manila University (ADMU) campus in Quezon City according to the Manila Bulletin.
Senior Inspector Noel Sublay, chief of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Explosives Ordnance Division, disclosed that the bomb was discovered by a laborer at the East Asian Pastoral Institute corner Masterson Road, Ateneo De Manila University, Loyola Heights, Quezon City.
Sublay said Diosdado Flores, 50, of Majes-Top Construction and a resident of Binangonan in Rizal, was digging in the area and noticed the vintage bomb.
Sublay said they immediately conducted Render Safe Procedure (RSP) and later identified it as a 2.75-inch projectile.
The item was brought to the EOD headquarters for safekeeping and disposal.
Sublay said since the 1990s, the EOD has already recovered at least six vintage bombs at the Ateneo de Manila campus.
