How the Dow Jones industrial average fared Monday

The Nasdaq fell 31.84 points, or 0.6 percent, to 5,060.25.

For the year:

The Dow is up 214.90 points, or 1.2 percent.

The S&P 500 index is up 50.02 points, or 2.4 percent.
