DURBAN, South Africa (AP) -- Springboks hooker Bismarck du Plessis is back in the Sharks squad for the Super Rugby tour to Australasia after serving a four-week ban for kicking an opponent.
Du Plessis was one of 27 players named on Friday for games against the Highlanders and Hurricanes in New Zealand, and New South Wales and Queensland in Australia.
Center Francois Steyn will also travel while still serving a five-week suspension for a dangerous tip tackle in the same game as Du Plessis' offense. Steyn is ineligible for the game against the Highlanders next Friday, but can play in the other three.
The Sharks are struggling down in ninth in the 15-team standings, and will tour without injured South Africa flyhalf Pat Lambie, No. 8 Ryan Kankowski, and suspended flanker Jean Deysel.
