New immigrant tour leader links Sichuan with Taiwan

A new immigrant from China named Yin Tao opened an exhibition center near Liuhe Tourist Night Market in Kaohsiung, offering a place for companies to display their products. She also shows her concern for low-income workers in central and south Taiwan, establishing an interchange association.
Yin moved to Pingtung and got married 20 years ago. When China opened for Taiwanese tourism, she applied for the tour leader position as a Chinese leader. She said that she only wanted to save the flight ticket at first, but then the job became a bridge for her to help other Chinese immigrants.
Jiang Jufeng, the former governor of Sichuan Province, visited the immigrants in 2011, and encouraged them to work together. Yin felt like she had the mission to bring the better lives to those immigrants, so she took part in the establishment of the China Federation of Industry and Commerce. With her local guide service, she enables interchange between ethnic groups in China and aboriginal groups in Taiwan. She also helps to find the ideal companies in the exhibition center to get her immigrant friends better employment opportunities.
