'Explorers' recruited to uncover what's fun in Japan, South Korea

Taipei, April 1 (CNA) The Taiwan-based online travel agency KKday is recruiting travel lovers to help it explore fun activities in Japan and South Korea, with incentives of free flight tickets, free lodging for 30 days and 30 free theme tours. The recruitment of five "explorers" for Japan and another five who will go to South Korea was launched Wednesday with the cooperation of low-cost carrier Tigerair Taiwan, according to KKday, which offers exotic and varied tour experiences for travelers. Anyone aged 20 and over who uses traditional Chinese and is addicted to travel is welcome to apply for the jobs by uploading a short self-introduction film to Youtube and sharing the link on a personal Facebook page before April 30. Job seekers are instructed to use the hashtags "#travelwithkkdayjapan" for Japan and "#travelwithkkdaykorea" for South Korea. The selection process will be carried out in two stages, the first of which will consist of an online vote on Facebook, according to KKday. Details of the recruitment are available in Chinese online at https://event.kkday.com/zh-tw/campaign/japan-korea KKday co-founder and CEO Ming Chen (???) said the jobs are open to anyone from any country. "No matter who they are -- young college students, bloggers or salaried workers -- all have the chance to be selected to become some of the most happy people in Taiwan this summer," Chen said. The final results will be published on May 19. On its website, KKday offers more than 1,300 unique immersive tours -- such as in Japan, learning how to make sushi or brew green tea -- in 170 cities in 52 countries around the world, according to Chen.
