NEW DELHI (AP) -- Officials say an air conditioning unit caught fire at India's parliament complex, causing a dozen fire engines to respond, but the small blaze was put out and there were no immediate reports of injuries or major damage.
New Delhi fire official A.K. Sharma says the engines took about 30 minutes Sunday to extinguish the fire, which sent a huge cloud of dark smoke soaring into the sky.
Sharma says the main parliament building was unaffected by the fire.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
