Attendant draws attention with kind service to disabled passenger

Taipei, March 15 (CNA) A Taiwanese flight attendant has attracted media spotlight after his kind and patient feeding of a disabled passenger was revealed by another passenger on Facebook Saturday. Chiang Chia-yang (???), a cabin manager at China Airlines, was photographed feeding a disabled passenger in a photo posted on passenger Wu Yi-cheng's (???) Facebook page. In the post, Wu said after noticing that the disabled man needed help to take his meal, Chiang patiently spoon-fed him and even cut the fruit in pieces to make it easier for the man to chew on. He said Chiang spent 25 minutes feeding the man, before cleaning the table and leaving. "I am very much moved and I really hope I could take his plane again in the future," Wu said. Chiang has declined to be interviewed. The cabin manager is a low-key person who said that he was just doing his job, according to China Airlines spokesman Jeffrey Kuo (???). Kuo said his airline will reward the cabin manager, who has worked for China Airlines for 33 years. Colleagues, meanwhile, described Chiang as a kind person who does a lot of good deeds but does not like to take credit for them. (By Wang Shu-fen and Christie Chen)
