Far Eastern’s new tower to create a new skyline for Banciao

Far Eastern Group has recently completed the construction of the 50-story Mega Tower on Xinzhan Road, standing as the tallest building in Banciao District, New Taipei City. The building will be managed by the group’s long-term partner Shangri-La International Hotel Management Ltd. A banquet hall, bar and restaurants on top floors are scheduled to launch in the third quarter this year.

“I have great confidence in seeing the restaurant complex in the Mega Tower thrive in the local market; not only because they are well-located at the top of the district’s new landmark, but also because they will be welcoming guests with five-star service and serving quality food at affordable prices,” said Mr. Marcel N.A. Holman, general manager of Shangri-La’s Far Eastern Plaza Hotel, Taipei, who will be overseeing the operations of the top three floors in Mega Tower.

According to the group, a 200-seat buffet restaurant will stand at the top of the restaurant that features local seafood, seasonal ingredients, and delightful homemade desserts. Diners will find authentic flavors and excellent ingredients in the Asian concept of “sharing and enjoying” together.

One floor down, the 48th level is split into two sections, including a banquet hall and a Chinese restaurant. The banquet hall is a luxurious space that holds up to 40 tables, or 400 seats, and offers grand Cantonese and Taiwanese dishes. Suitable for weddings, press conferences, media events, year-end parties and other gatherings, it is equipped with state-of-the-art audio and visual systems. The 100-seat Chinese restaurant has three private dining rooms, including the largest which can accommodate up to 24 diners. A mix of exquisite Cantonese, Taiwanese, Hunan and Sichuan dishes will be available.
