EDINBURGH, Scotland (AP) -- Peter Horne will fill Scotland's void at flyhalf for the Six Nations match against Italy on Saturday as one of four changes to the starting lineup.
Horne replaces Finn Russell, who failed this week to overturn a ban for a dangerous tackle against Wales in Round 2 of the tournament. With Duncan Weir and Ruaridh Jackson out injured, Horne is Scotland's fourth-choice No. 10.
Tim Swinson comes in for the injured Richie Gray at lock in the other enforced change.
Tommy Seymour is preferred on the wing to Tim Visser after recovering from a hip injury, and prop Euan Murray starts ahead of Geoff Cross after missing the Wales game because he doesn't play on Sundays because of religious reasons.
Scotland has lost both of its matches so far.
